Starting at the Brentwood parking lot the trail descends on a paved surface that has many stones, up to 2" to 3" in size, from a road running parallel to the trail, making the decent less fun and more stressful. If you go past the gov dick pull off there are more trail heads in a pull off to the right that take you down the backside of the mountain. Crushed stone is very packed and easy to ride with only a few bumpy spots. these trails are really goodlots of rocky stuff hard climbs and some easy climbs also some great real fast single track there are alot of trails probaly around 30 miles or so there is also some very tecnihcal downhill with big rideoffs def would check this place out its worth driving to u can park off pinch road or at the yellow gate on 117 just a little outside of gretna u drive through gretna then u will see a yellow gat on your right side about 2 miles after u leave gretna.
